Individuals with visual impairments encounter a range of challenges in their daily lives, with one significant hurdle being the identification of currency during financial transactions. While the process of recognizing money appears straightforward for the average person, it poses difficulties for those who are visually challenged. Distinguishing between currency notes of different denominations becomes intricate due to the similar paper size and texture. In response, "Notepal", an innovative mobile application has been developed and designed to address this issue effectively. "Notepal: Currency Detector App for Visually Impaired" serves as an invaluable tool for the visually impaired community, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to enhance their independence. By utilizing the power of the Random Forest Classifier, an ensemble machine learning technique, and harnessing the capabilities of the OpenCV library, the application accurately detects the denomination of currency notes. Additionally, the integration of Text-to-Speech conversion further enhances user experience by transforming written information into audible cues. This amalgamation of technologies, brought to life within the Android Studio environment, represents a significant step towards facilitating seamless financial interactions for individuals with visual impairments.
