A Bit Error Rate Analysis and Testing System

Bit Error Rate (BER) is a critical indicator of the quality in digital communication, which is used to assess the accuracy of data transmission. Various factors, such as noise, attenuation, interference, and others can impact the BER in digital communication systems. Therefore, this paper presents a method to reduce the noise and the interference in order to get a better BER for a communication system. Additionally, specific code element correction techniques are employed to enhance communication quality. By experimental testing and verification, the software radio-based method proposed in this thesis can effectively improve the signal-to-noise ratio and reduce the BER, and the method utilized in this paper is simplicity and efficiency, which has practical value in engineering applications and academic research.
