Foreword and overview
Susan Rose‐Ackerman · 2024
In late August of 2022, two dozen scholars from around the world came to Yale Law School to contribute original essays inspired by Susan Rose-Ackerman&s;s 50-year exploration of public policymaking, public law, and corruption in the modern world. This volume is one of two resulting from that conference. The essays in the present volume examine constructive efforts to promote reform and good government worldwide, and the complex ways in which corruption, greed, and state capture undermine the legitimacy and performance of government.
