NumPy and MatPlotLib Numerical Python (NumPy) is introduced by way of example and vectorized computation is explained. The Matrix Plotting Library (MatPlotLib) is used for plotting functions. The reader is shown how to save figures (pdf, png, tiff, jpeg, etc) and how to change the resolution of the image. Scatter plots and surface plots round of the chapter.
