ON THE THERMAL STABILITY OF CHLORINATED POLYVINYL CHLORIDE Ⅰ.INFLUENCE OF CHLOkINE-CONTENT ON THE THERMAL STABILITY

Wenguang Ma, Zhengbai Zhang · Chinese Journal of Applied Chemistry · 1989

The thermal stabilities of chlorinated polyvinylchloride(CPVC) and polyvinyl chloride(PVC) were compared through their infrared spectra and conductivity data. CPVC showeda much higher thermalstability than PVC. The influence of chlorine content in polymers onthe stability. has been discussed.
