Bluetooth®Low Energy is a widely adopted technology that is being deployed worldwide. Due to its utilization in Smartphones and less power consumption, Bluetooth®is the ‘communication protocol of choice’ for IoT applications. Bluetooth®Mesh [1] is the new enhancement in Bluetooth®which focuses on mesh networks and ensures security against various known attacks with different levels of encryption. It is scalable and enables many-to-many communications where multiple devices can communicate with each other reliably. Low power consumption makes it suitable to integrate these devices for low-power applications. In this paper, an advanced approach is demonstrated that helps in converting a Bluetooth®Mesh node into a gateway. The gateways capture all the packets in the mesh network and then convert the information to be used in a non-Bluetooth®network. It also provides supervision of the mesh nodes and the information of the nodes is logged and analyzed to take multiple actions. Additionally, some scripts can be designed to automate the mesh control processes.
