Technical Report on Integrating IoT into Realities: Metaverse and Augmented Reality

Immersive technology makes it simpler for users to interact with blended reality by fusing virtual material with the real world. Augmented Reality is one of the types of Immersive Technology. It may be characterized as the use of information in the form of text, images, audio, and other digital improvements coupled with physical objects. The term “metaverse” refers to the concept of a permanent, networked, 3D universe that integrates several virtual spaces. It is comparable to an advanced version of the internet. The Internet of Things is a network of actual physical items, or “things,” that have been connected to sensors, software, and other technology. However, the intersection of the Metaverse and the Internet of Things is still largely unexplored. In this paper, the work in Augmented Reality, Metaverse, and the Internet of Things is surveyed.
