Mathematics and Logics in ML: Application Aspects

This paper reviews the applications of mathematics and logic in Machine Learning (ML), a sub-field of AI. Mathematics and logic play a fundamental role in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and ML. In addition to the specific applications covered, mathematics and logic provide a general framework for reasoning about and comprehending ML algorithms. This framework can be used to create new algorithms, understand the theoretical aspects of existing ones, and comprehend the results of ML experiments.
