A Review of Frame Selection and Video Watermarking Techniques to Balance Quality and Security

These days, there are numerous issues related to copyright protection and ownership identification as a result of the improper use of electronic data. With growing speed of online media, authentication has become a necessary aspect to sustain the originality and authorization. Video watermarking is a technology that is used to prevent illicit altering and dissemination of digital videos. It involves the invisible and irreversible implantation of a watermark on specific frames. An analysis of various video watermarking strategies is presented in this work. The definition of piracy and techniques for safeguarding digital content are presented in Section 1. The types and domain-based embedding strategies are displayed in section 2. Next, section 3 addresses the robustness and quality measures. Section 4 focusses on frame selection types, optimization techniques have been mentioned in section 5, section 6 displays the survey of literature. Lastly, the further scope and conclusion has been mentioned in section 7.
