A Novel Fractional-Order Hyperchaotic System Influenced by Memristor and Its Remote Sensing Image Encryption Application

Xinvue Xu, Dawei Ding, Zongli Yang · 2023

In this paper, based on a simple chaotic system with a smooth flux-controlled memristor, a fractional-order memristive hyperchaotic system with two nonlinear terms and infinitely many equilibrium points is constructed. Numerical analysis shows that the system has novel dynamic characteristics in which the memristor parameter control multiple types of attractors and control the attractor amplitude. At the same time, the existence of transient behaviors and the coexistence of attractors greatly increase the complexity of the system, which can be confirmed by analysis of the system complexity. Finally, the system is applied to remote sensing image encryption, and the excellent performance of the hyperchaotic memristive system is verified by histogram and correlation analysis.
