SECURE IMPLEMENTATION OF REMOTE DESKTOP SERVICES IN WINDOWS SERVER 2012 R2: A COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS
International Research Journal of Modernization in Engineering Technology and Science · 2024
Remote connection enables users to access and interact with computing resources, such as applications, data, and systems, from geographically dispersed locations. This capability has become increasingly vital in supporting flexible work arrangements, enabling collaboration, and enhancing productivity. However, the proliferation of remote work and distributed teams has also heightened the demand for robust, secure, and efficient remote connection solutions.A client and a Windows server can communicate over the Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP).RDP allows you to run programs on a server from a distant client.RDP encrypts data and employs authentication to stop traffic leaks. However, the techniques are not impervious to attacks and have flaws.A method that improves security is suggested and put into practice.
