Silicon photonic delay-based reservoir computing incorporated with a multimode interference structure

We propose and experimentally demonstrate delayed-feedback type reservoir computing with a multimode interference structure in a silicon photonics. By combining both temporal and spatial nodes, the total number of nodes is increased to 1100, and the accuracy for the time series prediction is greatly improved.
