Trend Analysis of India's Cybersecurity System

Understanding the cybersecurity structures of India through a sequential study in Chapter 3, it has been observed that all the policies and guidelines are generated by seven dedicated ministries and the Prime Minister‘s Office (PMO). Consequently, this Chapter 4 will focus on the specific responsibilities of these seven ministries in securing the digital ecosystem of India. Meanwhile, it was also ascertained from the previous chapter that the Indian ministries have introduced/implemented all these policies because of the threat that the nation perceives at the external (international) and internal (domestic) level. The role of different stakeholders in framing cybersecurity policies at various stages is also analysed in this chapter.
