Assured Unlock: A Mobile App for Dual-Layer Encryption to Enhance Data Security

This research paper addresses the fundamental aspects of secure communication by employing a dual-layer security approach. The first layer involves data encryption, leveraging the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) Algorithm to ensure the confidentiality of the information being transmitted. In the second layer, data is concealed using the Least Significant Bit (LSB) image steganography method, adding an additional dimension of security through hidden data within images. Extensive testing demonstrated the system's proficiency in safeguarding sensitive data while maintaining image integrity, with encryption and decryption times within milliseconds irrespective of file size. Potential users include individuals, businesses, government agencies, healthcare providers, financial firms, and journalists seeking to protect sensitive data.
