Game Theory in the Metaverse

The developing Metaverse provides a unique structure for complex interactions between different stakeholders, including customers, companies, and governments. To analyze these intricate relationships and direct the Metaverse's future growth, this chapter study uses Ggame theory as a strong analytical framework. This chapter study highlights four crucial areas where game theory can be used as both an analytical tool and a design guide. First, it makes it possible to comprehend how choices are made in the Metaverse's virtual economies, encouraging ethical business practices and competitive growth. Second, game theory contributes to the development of more cohesive virtual societies by offering essential insights into the social dynamics of online communities. Third, this chapter looks at the regulatory implications of game theory and offers reasonable methods for governance that support both consumer protection and innovation. Finally, ethical issues are investigated, concentrating on just resource distribution and players’ moral obligations. In conclusion, game theory provides a thorough, multidisciplinary lens through which to protect and optimize the Metaverse's changing topographies.
