The leader-following consensus problem for a class of second-order nonlinear multi-agent systems (MASs) is examined in this study utilizing neural network (NN)-based approach. Generally the nonlinearity will influence the framework execution system performance, in this paper the differential mean theorem is used instead of the global Lipschitz condition to deal with the nonlinear term. Then the NN-based approximator and adaptive controller are constructed based on position and velocity estimations. By employing Lyapunov stability analysis, we established the viability of the leader-following consensus. Finally, the presented outcomes are illustrated with simulation results.
