This project aims to provide practical use of Arduino through the invention of an automated locker system as an alternative to conventional padlocks that the majority of students still use. The study features a fingerprint module to provide secure authentication to grant access to the locker of a registered user. The hardware consists of Arduino Mega, a servo motor, a push button, and a liquid crystal display. Its software was developed using the C++ programming language. The design detects the fingerprint of the user and verifies it by finding a match in the database. When a match is made, the system will open the corresponding locker of the user. The developers effectively attained the stipulated objectives of the system, resulting in a satisfactory operational performance. The three fingerprint IDs tested exhibited high confidence levels of 169.8%, 283.8%, and 299%. Only one test failed out of ten trials for each fingerprint.
