P. Vijay Anand, Lawal G. Anand · 2023
Breast cancer is a noncutaneous cancer that is diagnosed in more women all over the globe than any other kind of cancer combined. The condition known as breast cancer is one of the utmost widespread and deadly forms of the disease, and it is regarded as the second most prevalent cause of cancer-related deaths in women throughout the globe. On the other hand, early diagnoses and identification may provide a much-improved probability of receiving the appropriate therapy and surviving the disease. The pretrained convolutional neural network is one of the most powerful technologies, and it has shown amazing and superior outcomes. In order to train and categories the BreakHis dataset into benign or malignant categories, the proposed model makes use of the transfer learning approach of the powerful ResNet-50 CNN that has been pretrained on ImageNet. The results of the simulations demonstrated that the suggested model achieves an extraordinary classification accuracy of 99%, beating other models which were trained on the same dataset and compared to it.
