Trapty Agrawal, T Manikandan, Sunil MP · 2023
A burgeoning market exists today for adaptable flying drones that may be used for both military and civilian purposes. Significant interest has been generated in the creation of cutting-edge drones that are capable of autonomous flying in a variety of situations and completing a variety of tasks. Drones have been used in many different fields over the last ten years, which has led to the development of drones of diverse shapes and sizes. In this in-depth analysis, we suggest a brand-new categorization for flying drones that includes everything from big unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to tiny smart dust drones. We study the newly identified uses for them, dig into the difficulties in designing and manufacturing micro drones, look at current techniques to increase their durability, and talk about different navigation and control techniques. Additionally, we evaluate the limits of the existing drone technology, provide fixes for the drones of the future, and make suggestions for further advancement.
