It is with great enthusiasm and a deep sense of responsibility that I assume the role of Editor-in-Chief for the IEEE Communications Standards Magazine for a two-year term, starting in Jan 1st, 2024. Having been involved in the communications industry for over two decades and currently serving as an Intel Fellow and the Wireless CTO in Intel's Client Computing Group, I bring a wealth of experience and a passion for advancing the quantity of high-quality publications in the field of communication standards to this Magazine. I am delighted to lead this esteemed publication, and I am committed to ensuring that the IEEE Communications Standards Magazine remains at the forefront of disseminating cutting-edge research and insights in the dynamic realm of communication standards.
