Review of: "SAM: A Language for Education"
Hazita Azman · 2024
I find your concept and 'theoretical' notions of SAM very refreshing. In fact, I do think it is a very plausible 'frame'(alternative dimension) to analyze and understand differing teacher practices in interpreting received educational goals and learning standards, and the epistemic classroom discourses employed in their delivery, especially.I should like to encourage its expansion and application in educational investigations, where I believe learning and non-learning is very much a situated phenomenon. And so, I strongly support the publication of this article.Nevertheless, more clarity and nuanced explication on how SAM can be applied as a research/methodological design/framework would be useful.
