Talent assessments are difficult but necessary exercises in every company, especially assessments that relate to technology talent. Companies need to take an objective, unbiased assessment of the talent they have versus the talent they need and decide how to close the inevitable gaps they discover. Companies must decide if they need to upskill, recruit new talent, or even acquire through the acquisition of talent-rich companies. No matter what they decide, the search for talent will always be a continuous one.
