Exploring User Experience in Mobile Applications: A Systematic Literature Review

Mobile applications have been used to facilitate everything in life. User experience is an important aspect in ensuring the convenience of a mobile application by providing experience and satisfaction to users when using an application. Evaluation of user experience is needed to find out the problems experienced by users. Applications evaluated must be carried out using the appropriate method according to what is required by the application. In this study, the analysis and identification of the methods, attributes, and fields of application used in evaluating the user experience of mobile applications were carried out using the systematic literature review method which succeeded in obtaining 109 scientific articles consisting of 58 journals and 51 scientific articles. proceedings from 2018-2023. The results of this study stated that the methods used to evaluate user experience on mobile applications totaled 30 methods, there were 3 methods most often used, namely the System Usability Scale (SUS) method, User Experience Questionnare (UEQ) and Heuristic Evaluation. There are 83 attributes used to test or evaluate user experience in mobile applications, there is 1 attribute that is most often used, namely the attribute efficiency. There are 12 fields of mobile application evaluation of user experience, there is 1 field that is most often evaluated, namely the Health sector.
