Analysis of Strengths and Weaknesses of Software Testing Strategies: Systematic Literature Review

Software Testing is a crucial phase in a software development cycle. To deepen the understanding of software testing strategies, this study aims to identify and provide an analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of testing strategies. The approach used in this research is Systematic Literature Review (SLR). Various sources discussing software testing strategies have been summarized and reviewed according to the SLR process. The result of this study is the discovery of four descriptions of software testing strategies, in which each classification is decomposed into several types and then the advantages and disadvantages are explained.
