Improving the flow rate of the oxidation cleaning loop during the outage of CPR1000 megawatt nuclear power plants can effectively shorten the outage period, reduce the unit operating cost and improve the unit availability. In order to verify the performance of the nuclear island filter on the loop is the key to increase the flow rate of the oxidation purification circuit, this study is based on the flow rate differential pressure test and anti-broken strength test with three different accuracies of filter cartridge $0.1 \mu \mathrm{m}, 0.45 \mu \mathrm{m}$ and $5 \mu \mathrm{m}$. The analysis of the test results shows that as the flow rate increases, the differential pressure of the clean filter cartridge shows a linear increasing trend, and the differential pressure in the high flow rate range is slightly larger than the system design differential pressure, while the anti-broken performance of the filter can meet the requirements of field use when the specified higher differential pressure is reached after the filter cartridge is blocked. However, after the flow rate of the oxidation cleaning circuit is increased, measures such as increasing the differential pressure alarm value of the filter or shortening the filter cartridge replacement cycle must be comprehensively considered from a system perspective to meet the safe and stable operation of the system under different working conditions.
