Partial inductance and the matrix model

The mutual coupling between antenna elements requires the concept of mutual partial inductance, which is conceptually different from the familiar loop inductance. The basics are explained in chapter 4, along with a matrix analysis of mutually coupled, dissipative components. This description of resonant network antennas in vacuum yields an accurate estimate of resonance frequencies and load impedance.
