BSI PAS 8671:2022 1 provides the framework for assessing the competence of individual principal designers as aligned with BSI Flex 8670. 2 This includes the core competence criteria relevant to all individual principal designers (including designated individuals), as well as additional guidance if you are the principal designer in connection with any higher-risk building work (HRB work). The PAS does not provide guidance regarding how to meet the statutory requirement for organisational capability.
