Blockchain Technology: A Paradigm Shift in Data Integrity and Security

The Digital Age has been accompanied by a key issue of data protection saved in the cloud. In this paper, which is titled as "Blockchain technology: A paradigm shift in data integrity and security" we look at how blockchain, an emerging but quickly evolving technology, provides high solutions to such a challenge. Blockchain was first created as a shared public ledger for documenting Bitcoin transactions but lately has also gone beyond cryptocurrencies. It has potential applications in digital assets, smart contracts, record keeping, ID systems, and most notably, cloud storage. The main emphasis of this study is the function of blockchain in securely storing, retrieving, and sharing files in decentralized networks. In this paper, the authors seek to study the adoption of blockchain technology within cloud storage and how data security and management can be improved through decentralization, immutability, and cryptographic security which are characteristic of blockchain.
