Digital Models for Rock Scour

This chapter presents models to assess rock scour in a digitalized manner. These models distinguish between different functionalities, such as free surface or pressurized flow modelling, rock mass modelling and rock scour modelling. Each functionality represents a building block or digital engine to develop digital twins for rock scour, as explained in Chapter 5 . In the following, for each of the discussed models, the basic equations are presented as well as a description of their digitalization process and level.
