Image Encryption Algorithm Based on Henon Chaos Theory

The widespread application of image technology has made its security issues particularly important. The core of information security research is cryptographic technology, which is mainly based on nonlinear science and information science research. Among them, cryptography research represented by chaos has received high attention from many scholars in recent years. Utilizing the various excellent characteristics of chaos to construct secure cryptographic algorithms and applying them to multimedia secure communication such as images has become a hot topic in the field of information security. This article is based on Henon chaos theory for research and applies it to the design of image encoding and encryption, designing a specific scheme for encryption and decryption based on Henon chaos theory. Through experimental evaluation, it was found that the algorithm has a large key space and strong security.
