Enhancing IoT Security-Exploring the Application of Blockchain
Ruihang Zhang · 2023
These years the application of Internet of Things technology has significantly expanded, playing a crucial role in various domains. The widespread adoption of 5G networks has greatly improved communication efficiency, thereby fostering the rapid development of the Internet of Things (IoT). However, as the number of IoT devices continues to grow, the centralized management model on which IoT relied has exposed a series of security vulnerabilities, making IoT security a prominent area of academic research. Blockchain technology, with its decentralized and trustless nature, offers a reliable solution to enhance IoT security. This paper explores the application of blockchain technology in IoT security and presents several notable use cases.
