Soccer Trajectory Recognition Based on Image Preprocessing and Segmentation Technology

With the increasing abundance of material life, having a more healthy lifestyle has become the goal pursued by the people in their daily life, and sports represented by football is an effective way to improve physical function. The research focus of this topic is to develop a football track recognition system based on image preprocessing and segmentation technology. Its purpose is to provide a system that can identify the sports of players in football matches, especially for those who are not good at identifying such sports. The proposed system will be able to recognize motion from images captured by the camera, including still images and video sequences. It also tracks each player's position in the game, as well as their speed and acceleration. Then, the information can be used for other purposes, such as predicting the next moving position or speed of a single player.
