DoS Attack Simulation for Intrusion Detection

The Internet of Things (IoT) is vulnerable to many different kinds of assaults. Many field research and simulations have been carried out to better understand the tactics and tendencies of attackers. In this research, a novel method for assessing IoT attacks is presented. We specifically concentrated on three well-known IoT attacks and tested them with the Ad-hoc On-Demand Distance Vector (AODV) protocol implementation in the OMNET++ Simulator. This study explores the attackers' choice of target addresses and the important elements contributing to these attacks through data analysis.
