Influencing Factor User Acceptance Mobile Library in Indonesia: A Study on iPusnas Application

The rapid growth of information technology throughout the years has made excellent innovations on mobile devices, such as portable digital libraries. The growth of digital libraries is implemented in many countries, including Indonesia. One of the mobile digital libraries in Indonesia is the iPusnas application, which the Indonesia National Library ownsrary. Considering it as a new technology, the successful implementation can be evaluated through user acceptance. This study is examined using UTAUT2 on 400 undergraduate students across Indonesia. The result shows that performance expectancy, social influence, facilitating conditions, service mobility, user innovation, and intention to use are factors that affect user acceptance of the iPusnas application positively and significantly. The insignificant factors are effort expectancy and moderating variables of age and gender. Based on the result, the main aim of iPusnas is more focused on the usability of iPusnas application for the user, which is the ability to read books everywhere and everywhere. Also, the iPusnas application can be accepted by everyone regardless of their age and gender. This study shows what factors the iPusnas application can improve to increase its overall performance and user acceptance in the future as a library application.
