Neha Goel, Sandeep Bhatia, Priya Rana · 2023

This research paper aims to develop a Secure Smart Devices Control system, emphasizing low power consumption for improved energy efficiency and battery life. The system uses a Bluetooth module for wireless communication, an Arduino Uno for system control, and a relay module for device control. The literature review highlights the importance of researching low power consumption techniques in this field. The technique describes the Bluetooth home automation system's hardware parts and software configuration. The Arduino Uno acts as the central controller, connected to a Bluetooth module for wireless communication. Device power supply is controlled by a relay module, facilitating seamless automation. To achieve low power consumption, the Arduino can enter a low-power sleep mode during idle periods, effectively reducing energy usage. The results demonstrate successful Bluetooth connections with external devices and reliable control functionality. The system significantly decreases energy usage when compared to conventional systems, resulting in enhanced energy efficiency and battery life. These findings have practical implications for Secure Smart Devices Control with Low Power Consumption in residential settings. Future research directions include investigating advanced power management techniques and integrating renewable energy sources to further enhance energy efficiency and sustainability.
