Green Cloud Infrastructure: Mitigating the Environmental Impact of Cloud Computing
Neeraj Singla · 2023
Cloud computing has revolutionized the way businesses and individuals' access and store data, but with its increasing popularity, The effects of cloud computing on the environment are becoming a serious concern. Due to exponential growth of data servers and other resources energy consumption is massively increased, resulting in increased greenhouse gas emissions and negative impacts on the environment. To address this problem of energy consumption green cloud computing has emerged as a way to minimize the environmental impact of cloud computing. Green cloud computing provides an approach through which organizations can reduce their environmental impact of cloud computing. By adopting environmental-friendly practices in the design, deployment, and management of cloud computing systems, through which organizations can minimize their carbon footprint and make a positive impact on the environment. In-depth information about green cloud computing, including its advantages, difficulties, and cutting-edge solutions, is provided in this study [1].
