Object detection has become more attractive for its wide range of applications. This technology has been driven by an increasing processing power available in software and hardware. It is a computer vision technique that helps us to identify an image or video. In this work we mainly focus on how we detect the object by using SSD algorithm, there are several other algorithms like CNN, R-CNN and etc.But SSD algorithm is simpler compared to other ones.Furthermore, we discuss how the object is detected and where can we can implement this application. Some of its uses are, it can count objects in an image, retrieval of images, crowd counting, surveillance, self-driving cars and inspection of machines.
