Three-dimensional DBSCAN Radar Radial Source Sorting Algorithm Based on TDOA and DOA Information

Haiyue Mu, Zhiyu Qu · 2023

In the modern complex electromagnetic environment, in order to be able to sort the mixed multi-parameter agility radars in a dense pulse stream. A DBSCAN clustering sorting algorithm that combines the time difference of arrival (TDOA) and direction of arrival (DOA) of radar sources is proposed. Firstly, the TDOA within the time difference window is retained, and then most of the spurious pulses are removed by using the pulse width (PW) and radio frequency (RF) information. Finally, the clustering is performed by combining the TDOA and DOA to realize the sorting of radar signals. Compared with single-station sorting, this algorithm can also be used for multi-parameter agility radar sorting, and has a high correct sorting rate in the conditions of interference and partial loss of radar pulses.
