Since network technology is advancing so quickly, every industry that uses networking now has a great need for data storage facilities. The proposed system inspects the feasibility of creating a network-attached storage system using Raspberry Pi and Nextcloud. A network-attached storage system, or NAS, that provides data access to a variety of network clients is connected to a computer network. The potential use of this system is for file and photo storage. Additionally, the study’s main focus is on communication via the chat feature. The advantages of such an approach are highlighted, including its affordability, adaptability, and simplicity. The presented work summarizes that a Raspberry Pi-based network-attached storage system with Nextcloud software is a viable solution for individuals and small businesses looking for a secure and efficient way to store data and communicate with others. It allows the storage and retrieval of data from a centralized location for authorized network users and clients.
