A DRM Solution for Professionals and Citizens

Nowadays, ICT and mobile technologies are multiplying the possibilities to interact among different actors, enabling richer information exchange and novel forms of collaboration. In every DRR phase, different ICT systems and services are linked and work as an infrastructure for specific strategies and procedures. Among them, tools and services dedicated to the population will increase: collaborative platforms propose solutions supporting cooperative microtasks as part of distributed processes, in which citizens play as active local agents at the service of the DRR. This chapter describes the design of the I-REACT app, describing it as a walkthrough of the main functionalities and UI details. I-REACT is a mobile app accessible to registered users. The app provides location-based content that can be read on the map and in a list view. The I-REACT gamification strategy was designed by applying some fundamentals and then implemented on the mobile app for crowdsourcing.
