Analysis of Metrological Errors Caused by Voltage Misphasing in Three-Phase Four-Wire Smart Meters

Three-phase four-wire smart meter is widely used in neutral point direct grounding system, such as internal assessment of gateway metering point, electricity customers' trade settlement metering point and other occasions. In the operation process of three-phase four-wire smart meter, wiring error will cause measurement abnormality. This paper describes a 35kV high supply and high metering customer's smart meter metering error field example, due to the voltage wrong phase, current polarity reversal error. And we analyse the reasons for the metering abnormality of the smart energy meter according to the load type and metering parameter data. In order to ensure the safety, accuracy and reliability of the operation of the electricity meter, strict precautionary measures are proposed from the management and technical aspects.
