Nowadays, the Internet of Things (IoT) has become an integral part of various industries and everyday life. However, IoT devices are vulnerable to distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks, which can disrupt their normal functioning by overwhelming them with excessive traffic. It is crucial to understand the nature of the attacks to prevent and detect such attacks. This paper proposes a web-based application that uses data virtualization techniques to analyze and visualize DDoS attack data in IoT network traffic using 3D plots. The application effectively showcases the visualization of the analyzed results, enabling a comprehensive understanding of the nature and characteristics of DoS attacks in IoT networks with a clear depiction of attack patterns, traffic anomalies, and potential sources of attacks, all achieved without the need for machine learning techniques for analysis.
