The IoT is a rapidly developing technology that has the potential to transform our way of life in a variety of areas like health, education, home, transportation, etc. Security and anomaly detection is crucial aspects in the IoT domain. Anomaly detection is also important when delivering various IoT services, such as sensor data compression, security and data privacy. This paper presents a comprehensive overview of the various anomaly detection techniques used to analyze IoT data.
