Body ownership is the feeling that one’s own body part belongs to that person. Agency, which is the sense of being able to control one’s own body part. These two types feelings are felt toward fake body parts or those depicted by computer graphics. There are three main models for the relationship between body ownership and agency: additive model, independence model and interactive model. In this study, we examined whether independence model is correct or not. Body ownership could affect agency, and their independence was not supported.
