The healthcare industry encounters numerous challenges concerning data management, privacy, and security. Traditional healthcare systems rely on centralized databases for storing and managing patient information, making them susceptible to data breaches and misuse. Over the last few years, blockchain technology has gained prominence as an influential solution for the efficient and secure management of healthcare data. Through providing a decentralized, secure, and transparent data storage and management system, blockchain holds the capability to tackle these challenges. This paper delves into the concept of blockchain based healthcare system, explores its benefits, discusses the implementation challenges, including the incorporation of two-step user verification.
