A Method for Real-Time Recognition and Processing of Interferometer Direction Finding Outliers

Digital channelised receivers based on the interferometer direction finding system have the advantages of large dynamic range and high sensitivity, in addition to the ability to process multiple signals simultaneously. It is widely used in electronic support Measure (ESM) systems. Interferometer direction finding is easily affected by reflection signals and multipath signals, resulting in outliers in direction finding. In this paper, a method for real-time recognition and processing of interferometer direction finding outliers is proposed, which can improve the ability of the interferometer direction finding system to process reflected signals and multipath signals. The effectiveness of the algorithm is verified by engineering practice.
