The blind text reader with currency detection project on the Raspberry Pi aims to assist individuals with visual impairments. The project utilizes a Raspberry Pi, a camera module, and various software components to capture images of text and banknotes, perform optical character recognition (OCR) to extract text and convert it into speech using a text-to-speech engine. Additionally, the project incorporates image processing techniques and machine learning algorithms to detect and recognize the value of banknotes, providing real-time currency information. This project showcases the potential of technology in enhancing accessibility and independence for visually impaired individuals.
