Wiwin Nuraini, Teguh Raharjo · 2023
Agile methodology became popular and widely adopted. The agility of its practices allows the organization to have a proper strategy for facing the dynamic environment. Some organizations succeed, but several others are struggling with unexpected failure. One of the critical success factors in agile development is team collaboration. The COVID-19 pandemic happened in 2020, forcing organizations to work from home. After the pandemic, organizations realized the potential benefits of the “work-from-home” policy. Several organizations implement hybrid work in their software development processes. However, this approach encounters another problem related to managing the collaboration of team members with dispersed locations. This study aims to identify key challenges and recommendations for managing hybrid work collaboration for Agile teams. This study used a systematic literature review procedure and the protocol known as Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA). Various problems were analyzed and classified into four categories. Those categories are people, processes, organizations, and technology. Some recommendations are provided in this study to overcome all identified challenges in hybrid work collaboration for Agile teams.
