Using the Chaotic to Improve the RC4 Algorithm

Image encryption plays a crucial role in ensuring the security and confidentiality of digital image data.This study explores an image encryption approach that employs the RC4 algorithm with the chaotic Logistic Map and with varying key lengths.The encryption quality assesses using metrics such as Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio (PSNR), Mean Square Error (MSE), The Normalized Cross Correlation Coefficient (NCC), Structural Similarity Index Measure (SSIM), and Histogram.Results demonstrated that the Logistic Map-based encryption method successfully balanced image quality and security.The study's contributions lie in offering valuable insights into image encryption techniques, providing a practical method for secure image communication and storage.
