The Report of Standardization for Blockchain-Based Digital Right Management System

Under the threat of digitalization of creations, the traditional digital right management method exposes several problems, including high entering&maintaining costs and low transaction efficiency. Meanwhile, the booming development of blockchain technology shows the potential to harness these issues. Thus, this paper aims to deliver an analysis report of the standardization situation for blockchain-based DRM systems In front, we analyze the current situation of copyright management in both relevant standards and applications. Meanwhile, two general DRM systems based on alliance blockchain and a DRM platform based on public blockchain are demonstrated respectively to satisfy the needs of copyright authentication, judicial safeguards, and digital assets or right transaction.
